Usage Note

Produrre is an irregular verb of the -urre class (like tradurre, ridurre). Its past participle is prodotto; the present tense goes produco, produci, produce…. Conjugated with avere. Beyond manufacturing, it is used for 'to produce evidence' (produrre prove) or 'to yield crops/results' (produrre risultati).
