Usage Note
Proporzionalità is an invariable noun — like all Italian nouns ending in -tà, it has no distinct plural form (la proporzionalità, le proporzionalità). It is a legal and political principle (e.g. principio di proporzionalità in EU law) as well as a mathematical concept. The accented final -à signals stress on the last syllable.
