Raccomandabile means worthy of recommendation or advisable — non raccomandabile (not advisable, not trustworthy) is the more common form in daily use. The word is invariable between genders (un comportamento raccomandabile, una scelta raccomandabile). In colloquial Italian poco raccomandabile describes a shady or dubious person, making it a useful phrase for describing untrustworthy characters.
