Usage Note
Realistico describes something that is grounded in reality or that represents reality accurately, used both in art (pittura realistica) and in everyday speech (una previsione realistica). The plural masculine is realistici. It is not a false friend with English 'realistic', but learners should note the Italian stress pattern: reh-ah-LEE-stee-koh.
