Replica has three main meanings: a reply or retort in argument, a repeat performance of a theatrical show (la replica di uno spettacolo), and a replica or copy of an artwork. In theatre, le repliche are the subsequent performances after opening night. Note the stress: RÉ-pli-ca, not on the second syllable as in English 'replica'.
