Usage Note
Rossoverde is a compound colour adjective combining rosso (red) and verde (green). It is invariable in form and is most often used in sports contexts to describe team colours, particularly those of Ternana Calcio. Compound colour adjectives of this type do not change for gender or number in Italian.
