Schifezza is a colloquial and expressive noun denoting something disgusting, worthless, or of very poor quality — food, a film, a situation. It derives from schifo ('disgust') and is slightly vulgar in tone. Saying che schifezza! ('how disgusting!') is extremely common in informal speech. The plural schifezze often means 'junk food' eaten guiltily.
