scorso
last
adjective SKOR-soh Common
Origin: Past participle of scorrere (to pass/flow).
Also means
past (most recent)
Usage Note
Scorso always follows the noun and is used with time expressions to mean 'last' in the sense of most recently passed: la settimana scorsa (last week), l'anno scorso (last year). Do not use it for 'last in a series' — that is ultimo. It agrees in gender and number.
Examples
"L'anno scorso ho visitato Roma."
Natural Translation
Last year I visited Rome.
