Usage Note
Settimana is feminine. La settimana scorsa = 'last week,' la settimana prossima = 'next week,' questa settimana = 'this week.' The compound fine settimana (or weekend) means 'weekend.' Days of the week in Italian are all masculine except domenica (Sunday), which is feminine.
