Usage Note
Stella means both an astronomical star and, figuratively, a famous person or star performer: una stella del cinema (a movie star). The phrase essere nati sotto una buona stella (to be born under a lucky star) is idiomatic. The plural stelle is regular. Stellare is the adjective ('stellar').
