Also means
sensitivity
Usage Note
Suscettibilità is an invariable noun (the accent on the final syllable means the plural form is identical to the singular — le suscettibilità). It means both a medical/genetic predisposition and, in everyday speech, touchiness or oversensitivity: ha molta suscettibilità (he is very touchy). Context distinguishes the two senses.
Examples
"La sua suscettibilità la rendeva difficile da criticare."
Natural Translation
Her sensitivity made her difficult to criticize.
