tematica
theme, subject matter
noun teh-MAH-tee-kah Rare
Origin: From Greek thematikos, via Late Latin thematicus.
Usage Note
Tematica is often used in intellectual or artistic contexts to refer to the body of themes addressed in a work or discussion — it is slightly more abstract than tema (a single topic). The plural le tematiche is very common in journalism and academic writing. Note that il tema (masculine) is a related but distinct word.
