Usage Note
Testardamente derives from testardo (stubborn), itself from testa (head) — the idea of being 'hard-headed'. It is an adverb of manner and does not change form. A near-synonym is ostinatamente, which is slightly more formal.
Examples
"Ha testardamente rifiutato ogni consiglio."
Natural Translation
He stubbornly refused every piece of advice.
