Usage Note

Torinese refers to anything or anyone from Torino (Turin), capital of Piedmont. Like most Italian adjectives of origin, it is invariable for masculine/feminine singular (un uomo torinese / una donna torinese); the plural is torinesi for both genders. It can also be used as a noun: i torinesi = 'the people of Turin'.
