Usage Note
Trasferito functions both as a past participle of trasferire and as a noun meaning a person who has been relocated, especially in a work context. As an adjective it agrees in gender and number (trasferita, trasferiti, trasferite). In bureaucratic Italian it commonly describes an employee reassigned to another office or city.
