Visibile is invariable for gender: il segnale visibile, la macchia visibile. Its antonym is invisibile. In formal Italian it can also mean 'noticeable' or 'evident' — un miglioramento visibile ('a noticeable improvement'). Note that visibile refers to what can be seen, while evidente (obvious) refers to what is logically or factually clear.
