Also means
intense
Usage Note
Vivido describes colors, images, or impressions that are strikingly clear and intense (un colore vivido, un ricordo vivido = a vivid memory). It is a more literary synonym of vivo when used in this sense. Do not confuse it with vivace (lively, animated), which refers to behavior or temperament.
Examples
"Conservo un ricordo vivido di quel giorno."
Natural Translation
I keep a vivid memory of that day.
