Usage Note
Abbinare is a first-conjugation verb used for pairing complementary things — foods, colours, outfits: abbinare il vino al cibo (to match the wine with the food). It takes avere as auxiliary. The reflexive abbinarsi means 'to go together' or 'to match' (as in colours that coordinate).

"Abbina sempre il vino rosso alla carne."
Natural Translation
He always pairs red wine with meat.
