welcoming, cosy

Usage Note

Accogliente describes a place or person that makes you feel welcome and at ease: una casa accogliente (a cosy home), un paese accogliente (a welcoming town). Unlike the English 'hospitable' it focuses on warmth and comfort rather than formal hospitality. It has the same form for masculine and feminine; plural is accoglienti.
