Usage Note
Ambasciatore is masculine; the feminine form is ambasciatrice. The residence and offices of an ambassador are l'ambasciata (embassy). In formal address, the title is Signor Ambasciatore or Sua Eccellenza. The plural is gli ambasciatori.
