environmental
adjective ahm-byehn-TAH-leh Less Common
Origin: from 'ambiente', environment

Ambientale is invariable for gender, taking -i in the plural for both: politiche ambientali. It pairs constantly with green-policy vocabulary, as in impatto ambientale ('environmental impact') and tutela ambientale ('environmental protection'). Do not confuse it with ambientato, which describes where a story is set.
