Arancio refers to the orange tree (Citrus sinensis) as well as the orange color — arancio is used as an invariable color adjective (un vestito arancio, an orange dress). The fruit itself is un'arancia (feminine). The color adjective arancione also exists and does inflect. The plural of the tree is aranci.
