Azionario is used almost exclusively in financial contexts to mean relating to shares or the stock market: mercato azionario (stock market), indice azionario (stock index). It is not used for a person who owns shares — that is azionista (shareholder). The feminine form is azionaria, plural azionari/azionarie.
