Acquirente is the legal and commercial term for a buyer or purchaser, especially in contracts. It contrasts with venditore (seller). The everyday word for someone buying at a shop is more often cliente (customer); acquirente carries a formal or legal register and appears frequently in real-estate and tender documents.
