Usage Note
Bellezza is an abstract noun derived from bello ('beautiful'). The exclamation che bellezza! ('how wonderful!') is very common in spoken Italian. La bellezza di can also mean 'as many as' or 'no less than' (la bellezza di tre ore = 'a full three hours'). Plural: bellezze (often used for natural or artistic beauties of a place).
