Complicità is invariable in the plural (like all nouns ending in an accented vowel) — le complicità keeps the same form. It can carry a neutral or even warm sense (c'era una complicità tra loro = there was a special bond between them) as well as the legal sense of being an accessory to a crime. Context determines whether it is criminal or affectionate.
