Costituito is the past participle of costituire (to constitute/form), used as an adjective meaning 'made up of' or 'consisting of', as in un comitato costituito da esperti (a committee composed of experts). It is also used in legal language: il reato è costituito da… (the offence consists of…). Agreement follows standard past-participle rules (-o/-a/-i/-e).
