Usage Note
Culturalmente modifies verbs and adjectives to indicate something from a cultural standpoint. It is formed regularly from culturale (cultural) + -mente. In Italian, adverbs ending in -mente drop the final -e of the adjective before adding the suffix only when the adjective ends in -le or -re — so culturale → culturalmente. Common collocations: culturalmente diverso (culturally diverse), culturalmente ricco (culturally rich).
Examples
"L'Italia è un paese culturalmente ricco."
Natural Translation
Italy is a culturally rich country.
