Usage Note
Devozionale describes objects, practices, or literature intended for private religious devotion: un'immagine devozionale, un testo devozionale. It is a formal, mainly written-register adjective. Unlike devoto ('devout', describing a person's character), devozionale is used for artefacts and contexts — a devotional image, not a devotional person.
Examples
"La cappella conserva molte immagini devozionali."
Natural Translation
The chapel preserves many devotional images.
