Disastrato derives from disastro (disaster) and describes a person, place, or situation in a state of complete ruin — una zona disastrata (a disaster-struck area), sono completamente disastrato (I'm a total wreck). Informally it can mean 'hopeless' at something: sono disastrato in matematica. The feminine is disastrata.
