Etichettatura refers to the process or system of labelling products, a frequent term in EU food, pharmaceutical, and consumer-goods regulations: etichettatura obbligatoria (mandatory labelling), etichettatura nutrizionale (nutritional labelling). It is an abstract verbal noun from etichettare (to label). In everyday speech one might simply say etichetta for the label itself.
