Forza is feminine. It is used both physically (la forza muscolare) and figuratively (la forza di volontà, willpower). As an exclamation, forza! means 'come on! / go for it!' — widely used at sports events. A forza di + infinitive means 'by dint of' (by doing something repeatedly): a forza di praticare (by practising repeatedly).
