Usage Note
Fotochimico is a technical adjective used mainly in science, as in smog fotochimico ('photochemical smog'). Like other -co adjectives stressed before the ending, its masculine plural is fotochimici with a hard 'k' kept. The feminine forms are fotochimica / fotochimiche.
