Generazionale is an invariable-ending adjective (same form for m/f): il divario generazionale (the generational gap, m), la differenza generazionale (f). It is a relatively recent addition to Italian, increasingly common in sociological and journalistic discourse about age cohorts. The noun base is generazione (f).
