giuridicamente

legally

adverb joo-REE-dee-kah-men-teh Rare

Also means

in legal terms

Usage Note

Giuridicamente derives from giuridico (juridical, legal) + -mente. It qualifies statements about what is the case from a legal standpoint: giuridicamente parlando (legally speaking). Note the 'gi' onset: 'g' before 'i' is always the soft 'j' sound in Italian, so the adverb opens with 'joo-', not 'gee-'.

Examples

"L'accordo è giuridicamente vincolante per entrambe le parti."

Natural Translation

The agreement is legally binding on both parties.
