Usage Note
Guadagnato is the past participle of guadagnare (to earn, to gain) used as an adjective. Ben guadagnato means well-earned or well-deserved, a common phrase used to praise effort. As a verb form it follows avere: ho guadagnato (I have earned). It can also appear in reflexive form: me lo sono guadagnato (I earned it myself).
