Hezbollah

Origin: From Arabic Ḥizb Allāh, 'Party of God.'

Usage Note

Hezbollah is a proper noun used in Italian journalism and political discourse to refer to the Lebanese political and military organisation. In Italian text it is often written Hezbollah or Hizbullah without inflection; gender assignment follows il movimento ('the movement'), so it takes masculine articles when needed.
