Usage Note
Imparzialità is an invariable noun (accent fixes the final vowel). It is the quality of being imparziale (unbiased) and is central to Italian constitutional principles — l'imparzialità della pubblica amministrazione is explicitly required by Article 97 of the Italian Constitution. Contrast with neutralità (neutrality), which implies non-involvement rather than fair judgment.
Examples
"Il giudice deve garantire l'imparzialità."
Natural Translation
The judge must ensure impartiality.
