Impreziosire (from prezioso, precious) means to make something more valuable or beautiful through an addition or enhancement. It is often used in contexts of decoration, writing, or cuisine: impreziosire un piatto (to elevate a dish). It conjugates like other -ire verbs of the -isc- group: impreziosisco, impreziosisci… It takes avere as its auxiliary.
