Incastrato is the past participle of incastrare (to wedge, to fit into a slot, to trap) used as an adjective. It can describe a physical object jammed tight (il cassetto è incastrato = 'the drawer is stuck') or a person caught in a difficult situation. It agrees in gender and number: incastrata, incastrati.
