Usage Note
Informativa has two common modern uses: an official briefing or report given to a committee or body (un'informativa al parlamento, a briefing to parliament), and — especially in data-protection law — the privacy notice or disclosure (informativa sulla privacy, privacy notice/policy). The related adjective informativo means 'informative'. Do not confuse with informazione (a piece of information).
