Usage Note

Naturalista follows the -ista pattern: the masculine plural is naturalisti and the feminine singular/plural naturalista/naturaliste. It refers to a student of natural history or a field biologist. Do not confuse with naturalizzato (naturalized, as in citizenship) or naturalismo (naturalism, an artistic movement).
