Usage Note
Nevicare is an impersonal verb used only in the third-person singular: nevica (it is snowing), ha nevicato / è nevicato (it has snowed). Like other weather verbs it accepts either avere or essere in compound tenses.
Examples
"Ieri ha nevicato tutta la notte."
Natural Translation
Yesterday it snowed all night.
