Nobiltà is invariable in the plural (ending in an accented vowel). It denotes both the social class (la nobiltà feudale = the feudal nobility) and the abstract quality of being noble in character (la nobiltà d'animo = nobility of spirit). Nobile is the corresponding adjective and noun for an individual nobleman or noblewoman.
