Usage Note
Omosessualità is a feminine noun and, like most abstract nouns ending in -tà, it is invariable in the plural — le omosessualità (though it is rarely pluralised). It is the neutral, clinical term; the colloquial and informal synonym gay (invariable adjective/noun) is very common in everyday speech.
