Usage Note
Pianificare uses the auxiliary avere in compound tenses: ho pianificato (I have planned). It is a regular -are verb conjugating like comunicare (with a -ch- in forms before -i/-e to keep the hard 'k' sound: pianifichi, pianifichiamo). More formal than programmare or organizzare.
