possibilmente

possibly, if possible

adverb pos-see-beel-MEN-teh Rare

Usage Note

Possibilmente is used to soften a request or express a preference, similar to 'if at all possible' in English. It is more polite and formal than forse ('maybe'). Example of register: Venite possibilmente in orario ('Please come on time if possible') is a gentle instruction, not a harsh command.

Examples

"Rispondimi possibilmente entro domani."

Natural Translation

Reply to me if possible by tomorrow.
