Pronostico (plural pronostici) is used both in weather contexts (pronostico del tempo) and sports (fare un pronostico sulla partita, to make a match prediction). In medicine it is synonymous with prognosi (prognosis). Note the stress falls on the antepenultimate syllable: pro-NÒ-sti-co.
