Usage Note
Rassegna is feminine (la rassegna, plural le rassegne). It covers a literary or film review, a periodical journal, and a public showcase or festival (la Rassegna Cinematografica = the Film Festival). The idiom fare la rassegna means 'to review' or 'to survey'. Do not confuse with recensione (a critical review of a single work).
