Usage Note

Riordino can refer to physically tidying something (il riordino di una stanza = tidying a room) or to a structural reorganisation (il riordino delle competenze = the reorganisation of responsibilities). In Italian administrative language it is especially common for legislative or institutional restructuring. The related verb is riordinare.
